In a jungle of brands, certifications and self-declarations, both consumers and experts are likely to become disoriented and confused.
We need a validation system for the articles that evaluate the production process and confirm the absence of dangerous substances. All with objective criteria and transparency.
The Textile and Health Association has developed a voluntary certification system that evaluates the production process and confirms the absence of dangerous substances, all with objective criteria and transparency, which has the twofold objective:
• To give relevance to companies that operate in compliance with mandatory regulations
• To guarantee the consumer about the origin, traceability and safety of the garment and the footwear he wears.
The Textile and Health Association was founded in 2001 in Biella, but its activity has a national significance.
Since its foundation, it has combined different Subjects equally interested in designing, producing and selling textile articles, footwear and accessories that are safe for consumers : Business and Consumer Associations, Institutions, Health Authorities, Research Institutes.
