Wednesday 19 July u.s. the second Italian workshop of the REACH4TEXTILES project, an initiative supported by the European Commission DG GROW of which Associazione Tessile e Salute is a partner together with the Centexbel technology center, the European Organization of the Textile and Clothing Industry (EURATEX) and the German national association of textiles and fashion, Textile und Mode T+M and Centrocot, was held at the Sistema Moda Italia headquarters in Milan.

The REACH4TEXTILES project, which will end in September 2023, will serve to share best sampling and analysis practices, identify efficient approaches to prevent non-compliant textile items from being placed on the European market and offer training and support for more effective surveillance and a level playing field.

The meeting in Milan was dedicated to the Italian authorities and bodies competent for market control and the application of the REACH Regulation with reference to the textile sector.
