Final event Elsa Piana - Tessile e Salute Award
The final event of the 'Elsa Piana - Tessile e Salute Award' took place on December 15th at Cittadellarte - Pistoletto Foundation (Biella).
The winners, decreed following the judgment of the Scientific Committee of the Prize and the experts present in the room, were:
Helena P. Felgueiras (2C2T, Universidade do Minho - Portugal) and Matteo Beccatelli (Biometrica srl);
special mentions by the jury to: Matteo Fasana (Polytechnic of Turin), Lory Marika Margarucci (University of the Foro Italico-Rome), Doriana Marini (DIENPI srl), Vania Pais (Fibrenamics, Universidade do Minho - Portugal).
We thank all the young researchers for their commitment and the high quality of the works presented.
The Textile and Health Association was founded in 2001 in Biella, but its activity has a national significance.
Since its foundation, it has combined different Subjects equally interested in designing, producing and selling textile articles, footwear and accessories that are safe for consumers : Business and Consumer Associations, Institutions, Health Authorities, Research Institutes.
